Introduction to Astrology Series

  • Temple Mile End Montreal Canada (map)

Are you curious to know what lies beyond popular Sun Sign Astrology? Are you beginning to read and research, but need some help going deeper?

This 4 week workshop series is designed to introduce some classical and modern fundamentals to those with a budding interest in Astrology. It is great for beginners, or those with some knowledge that could benefit from an overview of astrology’s foundations. Classes may be somewhat tailored for the needs of the attendees, so please bring your questions.

We will cover some general history of astrology, the main differences between traditional and modern approaches, and the basic components of the Birth (Natal) Chart. It is my hope that this series will begin to equip you with the ability to understand Western Tropical Astrology more clearly. Each class is 2 hours, with a short break in the middle. Bring a notebook + pen.

*This series will begin to prepare you for the Level 1 Exam with the Canadian Astrological Association of Education, should anyone want to pursue a certification in Astrology. This may become an ongoing series should the need and interest present!

Your facilitator: Debbie Stapleton holds a Certificate of Astrological Proficiency with the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), and with the Canadian Association for Astrological Education (CAAE) at the Advanced Level. She brings 20+ years of study and experience with astrology, along with the insight gained from a professional astrology consultation practice to this workshop:
