Restore yourself with the SCIENCE OF CHILL. Whether you are a yoga teacher or yoga enthusiast this Restorative Yoga Immersion will bring you to a balanced state of ease, trust, openness, and receptive nourishment. Designed to heal, rejuvenate, and reset your health and equilibrium, Restorative Yoga offers the space to truly let go and embody bliss. During the residency you will learn the ritual of relaxation through yogic techniques, sound waves, crystals, and herbal allies. The biggest achievement of this training will be a lifelong tool box of ways to personally chill out.

What is a Residency?

  • Learning how to take residency within one’s soul + heart through the practices of yoga

  • Develop a personal yoga practice / sadhana

  • Explore your personal relationship to yoga and various spiritual philosophies + traditions

  • Embody the ritual of holding sacred space for one’s self and others

  • Skillful Apprenticeship: Detailed instruction, theory, practice, and mentorship

  • Transmission: Learn how to teach and share restorative yoga with intuition and awareness

  • Sangha / Community: Connect with a tribe of beings who share a collective vision to be seen, heard, and held with openness, compassion, and respect

What is Restorative Yoga?

  • Sustainable: Gentle, Inviting, Soothing. Poses are held between 5-20 minutes or more to aid in deep relaxation, full-on-chill, awake but not asleep, a practice for youthful longevity at any age

  • Compassionate: The use of props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, and straps) along with support systems like the wall and earth, are channel to great a sense of levity and ease, sacred space is held for all experiences with equanimity

  • Meditative: as the body settles the breath is liberated to naturally coach the mind to focus, recharge, and soften its chatter towards a state of presence

  • Accessible: suitable for all body types, ages, and levels of students. Props are used to supplement the individual comfort of each participant, so that everyone feels at home. A recommended practice for over-worked, injured, and burnt-out (near to + recovery)
